Established in 1998, Preferred Marketing & PR Ltd provides sales, marketing, event management, PR consultancy and mentoring to small and medium sized businesses. The company offers a range of services that are designed to assist businesses to target and communicate their messages more effectively, so as to build customer loyalty, gain competitive advantage and increase profitability.

Managing Director, Miriam O’Donoghue, has over 12 years experience in sales and marketing roles within the hospitality and tourism sector and holds a BA in German & Psychology, a Diploma in Public Relations (PRII), a Certificate in Training & Development (IITD) and an MBS in Marketing. Accepted as a full member of the Marketing Institute Ireland in 2000 and the Public Ireland Relations Institute Ireland in 2001, she is also a registered mentor with Waterford City and County Enterprise Boards and a member of the Spirit of Enterprise South East Forum. A former board member and director of Waterford Chamber of Commerce, she was also Chair of the Marketing Institute Ireland South East region from 2006-2007.
